Section 3: How do we use the collected personal data?

The legal basis for collecting and using personal data described in this Privacy Policy
depends on the context. In general, we collect personal data for either of the following
purposes:

• We need to enter into a business contract or power of attorney with the Data Subject

• We need to comply with Finnish laws and financial regulation

Section 4: Categories of personal data we collect and process

We collect and process the following information:

• Full name and home / business address

• Telephone number and e-mail address

• Skype ID

• Salary information

• Passport contents

• Work contracts

• Tax cards

• Finnish social security power of attorney

• Finnish Tax/VERO power of attorney

• IBAN Bank account number and Swift/BIC code

• Finnish Identification number

• Marriage Certificate

• Child Birth Certificate

• Home rental agreement

• Car rental agreement

• Company VAT number

Section 5: Your rights to the personal data we collect and process

We want to make sure you are fully aware of all your rights as the Data Subject. In compliance with the GDPR and in the appropriate circumstances, you are entitled to:

• The right to obtain information on the processing of your personal data and of access to your data

• The right to rectification of your data

• The right to the erasure of your data and to be forgotten

• The right to restrict the processing of your data

• The right to data portability

• The right to object to the processing of your data

• The right to not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing

Section 6: How do we collect the personal data?

The data we collect is directly provided to us by the Data Subject.

Section 7: Transfer of personal data

We transfer personal data only to such parties that have legal basis for obtaining the data for purposes defined by law, or to whom the transfer is necessary in order to carry out tasks related to employment or employer obligations, or to whom the data transfer is based on a given consent by the Data Subject.

Personal data is transferred to the following parties:

• Econia Oy, in case of company cooperation: tax cards and people’s personal contact information, salary information, bank account information and work contract for the purpose of Finnish payroll and tax administration.

• Rantalainen Oy, in case of company cooperation: tax cards and people’s personal contact information, salary, bank account information and work contract for the purpose of Finnish payroll and tax administration.

• Tilipalvelu Alfa Oy, GMCFinland’s accounting company: company/persons' contact details and VAT number is collected for the purpose of customer invoicing.

• Länsi-Suomen Osuuspankki, banking: passport, Finnish ID number, TIN, foreign ID number for the purpose of bank account opening and strong electronical identification

• LähiTapiola Lännen, insurance: passport copy, Finnish ID number, home rental agreement, bank account number/BIC and Swift codes are collected for home insurance purposes.

Section 8: Transfer of personal data to third countries

Data is transferred outside EU/EEA only in situations where employer obligations must be handled outside of Finland according to Finland’s or target country’s tax legislation, tax contract between Finland and target country, EU’s or target country’s pension and social insurance legislation, or according to social insurance contract between Finland and target country. In case your personal data is transferred outside EU/EEA, this can take place only under the circumstances and conditions defined by the GDPR.

Section 9: For how long is the personal data stored?

We will retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
