As a #returningimmigrant talking to #expats and #immigrants about #repatriation back to so called ”home country” was a challenge. Many immigrants think about moving back ”home” at some point. General thought is that it is somehow #givingup #maitojunallakotiin #maitojuna My opinion is, that it is even braver to #moveback to Finland than moving abroad in a first place. There is nothing to be ashamed of! #theprocess is the same. One has to build up the life also back home. All paperwork but also the #mental process. #nothingisthesame People has changed, you have changed! #loneliness #outsider #different #sadness #weirdo #efforts #socialpressure #homesickness You are home, but you are not! Nothing feels home anylonger. You are restless, homesick, something is always missing. You have it all, but you have nothing! #stageofmind You have to work even harder to find the peace in your mind. I love Finland ❤️ I love all other countries I have lived! I have found the peace after seven years of living back in Finland.
